Filed under: Newborns, Celeb kids, Life & style, Celeb parentingAfter nine long months, the genetic perfection that results when Brad Pitt DNA combines with Angelina Jolie genes has finally been unveiled. Have you seen the itty bitty babes yet? The photos are at People and Hello!, go ahead and take a look first. I have time!
Okay, ADORABLE, right?! The wee Jolie lips? That teeny smile! (How do they get newborns to do that, anyway?! Sean Preston was smiling for his People cover too!) Momma and Daddy looking so happy and adoringly at their new babies! The inset at the top of doll-baby Shiloh holding a baby! IT'S TOO MUCH GOODNESS!
But after the first ovary-exploding viewing, I took another look and what really stood out was the WHITENESS. Brad's shirts are snowy. Angelina's top/dress/nightgown is pristine.. The baby's clothes and blanket are devoid of color. Shiloh's dress is like an angel's wing.
I can accept that Angelina gave birth three weeks ago, yet is down to one chin and has no dark circles under her eyes. I can accept that Brad, who is helping wrangle the four other kids in the house, is clean-shaven, save for the ridiculous growth on his chin that appears intentional.
What I cannot fathom is purposely dressing newborn twins, a two-year-old,and the adults caring for them in pure white and having the entire group remain devoid of bodily fluids, peanut butter and jelly, dirt, Popsicle, or Play-Dough for even a photo shoot. The only white I ever wore when caring for a newborn was the spots of spit-up that had dried on my clothes and years later, it's still a challenging color for me.
Is this Hollywood magic? Industrial size Tide To-Go pens? WHAT IS THE SECRET?!
