Filed under: Just for moms, Teens & tweens, In the newsWhenever I see one of those surveillance videos showing a robbery taking place, I always do my civic duty and take a good hard look at the robbers. I never expect to actually recognize anyone, but you just never know. I imagine that was the attitude of this woman in Milwaukee as she watched a video of some teens committing armed robbery at a local Citgo store. Except she did recognize the people on the video - they were her own children!What would you do? This woman did what I believe to be the absolute right thing. She called the police and identified her 16-year old son and 17-year-old daughter as the perpetrators. Capt. David Zibolski of the MIlwaukee police department praises this mom and says that he hopes her actions will encourage others to come forward with information about crimes.
