But when Motrin singled out babywearing to market their pain reliever to women, sling-wearing moms cried foul.Some moms took offense at the sarcastic tone. "In theory it's a great idea," the ad says of babywearing. "Supposedly, it's a real bonding experience." Other moms thought the ad was condescending: "Plus, it totally makes me look like an official mom. And so if I look tired and crazy, people will understand why."Though I don't really find this ad offensive, I think Motrin misunderstood their mark. Babywearing moms don't like their attachment parenting practices belittled, for one.
